Concerned mother speaks at District Council public meeting in New Zealand
Rachel Jackson this morning spoke at Southland District Council public meeting
Rachel spoke about:
The Relationship & Sexuality Education (RSE) curriculum content currently in New Zealand schools, and the lack of parent consultation with Southland Central School despite her and other parent’s numerous attempts to engage with the school board, and holding their own public meeting. She is now appealing to elected Council representatives to assist in her plight to have local schools listen to parents concerns.
The decision by Invercargill City Council to have NO female-only changing rooms at their pool facility ‘Splash Palace’. (Read newspaper article here).
This is one of the most powerful speeches we have seen given by a parent in New Zealand.
