InsideOUT, Upside Down - Spotlight On Gender Cult Organisations In NZ - Part 1
Spotlight on Gender Cult Organisations, by Penny Marie
Cult. It's a strong word. It smells like a band of religious zealots. It gets the palms sweating... Awkward...
I'm using this word because we need to get really serious about the topic of what's happening in our nation around sexuality, sexualisation, and the disturbing harm it is doing to us all - particularly our children. Our society is experiencing a rapid push into cult-like behaviour. The weaponising of free speech, of having a moral thought. Check out my cult checklist below and decide for yourself.
What's in a name?
InsideOut Kōaro (kōaro = inverted, turned right round, inside out, upside down, inverse, prejudice - source: www.maoridictionary.co.nz).
I have said this many times over the past three years... but everything is inverted. What we thought was truth is lies. What seems like it can't possibly be true... usually ends up being truth. I don't think it is any accident that this wording is used for an organisation that is attempting to about-face the basic premise of being human - that of being male and female. And of embracing our natural God-given state.
InsideOUT Is a registered charity and receives funding from the NZ Government. It was registered in 2012 and initially had a paltry budget, until the last couple of years where it's funding has grown rapidly.
InsideOUT's Vision
“VISION: All rainbow young people in Aotearoa New Zealand have a sense of safety and belonging in their schools and communities.”
That sounds kind and inclusive.
What they neglect to mention in their vision as that are coming into schools nationwide and blatantly undermining parents. They are confusing children by putting theories (with no scientific basis) into young minds that children cannot mentally comprehend, and they are sexualising/grooming children from the age of 5 years old, right through to our teens.
All this while neglecting to tell parents exactly what they are teaching our children. So, a somewhat misleading vision statement, perhaps? Any organisation that is teaching sexual content to children, and not being fully transparent about being so, should be under criminal investigation. The age of consent for sex in New Zealand is 16. Under this age, sex is illegal.
The Age of Consent in New Zealand is 16 years old. The age of consent is the minimum age at which an individual is considered legally old enough to consent to participation in sexual activity. Individuals aged 15 or younger in New Zealand are not legally able to consent to sexual activity, and such activity may result in prosecution for statutory rape or the equivalent local law. - source www.ageofconsent.net
InsideOUT are sexualising our children AND also confusing their natural sexual identities by normalising and celebrating confusion, and guiding children into being what they are not.
But wait, they are government funded
Instead of being under criminal investigation, InsideOUT are being funded by the government, and invited into schools, and even benefiting from mufti day takings. That’s right. Don’t believe me? Check out Pink Shirt Day's website - you’ll see their connection to InsideOut on this page.
Why would they do this? Are they caring and loving our children? Or is something else at play? I recommend all parents to ask yourself these important questions. For your children's sake.
The more I speak with the many parents who are catching on to what’s happening with this gender cult hitting our unsuspecting children full force… the more disturbing the stories get.
A parent told me of InsideOut coming to a high school in the Otago region, with very little notice given to parents. The parents requested an information meeting to know what the content was. The InsideOut facilitator was helpful and kind, however did not show parents the full content, instead zipping past much of it. As a result, a number of children were opted-out of participating in the one-hour InsideOut session the following day.
I have not found any parents who have been able to see the full content that InsideOUT are presenting to our children. Where there is secrecy around content to children, especially when it is a sexual nature... questions MUST be asked.
Let's take a look at their financials...
In their 2022 Audited Accounts: Update!! These full accounts are NO LONGER AVAILABLE ON THE CHARITIES WEBSITE. Only a summary is now available.
“InsideOUT relies on grants from government and other philanthropic and community grant organisations to cover paid roles, undertake projects, run events and provide services. This is supplemented through donations, bank interest, fundraising.
Main methods to raise funds: The majority of our funds are raised through grants. We also hold fundraising events (art auction, movie nights, games night), accept donations, provide services (education, hui), sell goods (educational resources, t-shirts, tote bags).
We largely rely on volunteers, their energy, time and ideas, support our events and administration, help us fundraise, provide services and produce resources”.
Finance details from InsideOUT’s 2022 Annual Report
Summary of income:
$879,417 Total income from government and other grants
$161,471 Income from education - is this donations/koha from schools visited, mufti days?
$89,248 from donations - This may be from funding grants from Foundation North, Rata Foundation, Wellington City Council (IE the Govt), Tindall Foundation (all listed on InsideOUT website)
$287 from t-shirt sales
$143 Net fundraising total. Hmm. (Fundraising expenses $4,208 and fundraising revenue $4,351)
$552,005 - Grants received in advance (noted as a liability, as given in advance)
Summary of expenses:
$715,836 Salaries
$104,222 Contractors
$12,444 Supervision
$60,000 Admin costs
$47,514 Rent
$48,278 Employee holiday pay accrual
$36,549 Travel costs
So, the figures above don’t really reflect the statements above describing how they are funded… it’s somewhat misleading in two key areas:
“Income supplemented by donations, bank interest and fundraising”. Sure they got almost $90k of donations (likely grants). However their fundraising is non-existent and no bank interest is noted, so it probably wasn’t worth noting. So in fact, they are primarily government funded. To the tune of $1.6 million dollars in 2022. That’s our taxpayer money.
“We largely rely on volunteers…”. A total of $868,336 was spent on salaries, contractors and employee holiday pay accrual. So no, you’re not run by volunteers InsideOut. And your volunteers are pretty bad at fundraising, with a net total of $143 for the year.
Tax exempt
InsideOUT are EXEMPT from paying income tax, due to their status as a Charitable Trust.
It's curious to note however, that Family First, who is pro-family and good Christian values, recently lost it's Charitable status. And it receives no government funding. You can do the logic on that one. Our government clearly doesn't support family, and it actively supports gender confusing ideology and children to be secretive from their parents.
Are we as a nation okay with this? Do we look the other way? Or is it time to stand up and say NO. HELL NO. HANDS OFF OUR KIDS.
An ethical mismatch of funding
InsideOUT's 2022 Annual report included a note about a ‘Betty Campbell Accommodation Grant’ from which they received $10,350.
The Betty Campbell Accommodation Grant was set up for ‘rental costs for office space in the central city for organisations delivering services that promote social well-being for Wellingtonians’
A little about Betty Campbell and the Grant in her name - source - Te Papa:
Betty was part of the Plunket Society in the 1950’s, set up to help mothers and babies.
She later became a key person in the newly formed Federation of New Zealand Parents' Centres. As part of this group, she worked for better antenatal education for mothers and fathers.
She joined the Wellington Hospital Board in 1965 with the specific aim of making childbirth more 'human' – with fathers allowed to be present at births, and more generous visiting times, especially in children's wards.”
She was regarded as a ‘woman on a mission’
Betty was elected as a Councillor in 1968 and established positive community initiatives.
This fund, set up to honour this powerhouse of a woman, standing for women’s and families rights… was accessed to pay for InsideOUT’s office space. I think poor Betty would be heartbroken if she knew grants in her name were funding InsideOUT.
InsideOUT appears to have a clear agenda to undermine the family unit. To confuse and sexual confuse children. To keep secrets from parents. How dare they take this good woman’s name and money, and fund their cause?
7 signs you're in a cult
The gender ideology being imposed on us disregards the family unit and undermines heterosexuality (which, in case you forgot, is necessary for the survival of our species). Remember all those gender Census questions? Did they make any sense to you? Yet if you say anything against the latest gender narrative you’re called all sort of derogatory names that simply didn’t exist until recently. 7 signs you may be in a cult (full article on the normalising of cult-like behaviour, by Penny Marie), are:
Opposing critical thinking
Isolating members and penalising them for leaving
Emphasising special doctrines
Seeking inappropriate loyalty to their leaders
Dishonouring the family unit
Crossing biblical boundaries of behaviour
Separation from the church.
Do some research for yourself
Don't just take my word for it - please take some time to research and come to your own conclusions. Decide whether allowing the gender ideology into your child's mind is ok or not. And if not, you might want to ask your school some questions. It's one thing to opt your child out... but what about the other children, who's parents don't know. Consider sharing what you find out with them. And ask your school questions.
The hardest part to grapple with, is that the government is funding this insanity. Elections are coming up - so it's high time we show up to campaign meetings and demand some answers.
Make no mistake, this organisation is not about 'anti-bullying'.
