Radio & News Features This Week
Reality Check Radio and Daily Telegraph Headline a recent OIA finding that might just help parents, teachers and our kids.
Reality Check Radio chat
Rodney Hide recently sent an Official Information Act (OIA) request to Erica Stanford, Minister of Education. Among other topics, Rodney and Penny discuss the findings of this OIA and how it can be used by parents and teachers to remove unwanted and concerning ideological lesson content from class.
The OIA document from Ministry of Education states that there are ‘no compulsory topics’ in the Relationships and Sexuality Education (RSE) curriculum.
This information may assist school leaders and teachers - but are they aware? Parents, you may find it helpful to communicate this to your school leaders.
Daily Telegraph article
This week we sent a media release out to all media agencies in New Zealand on this OIA information. Of course, we didn’t expect any mainstream media outlets to publish it… even though there is significant concern from the public, school leaders and some MP’s about this topic.
MSM’s silence on this and many issues that concern the people, demonstrates their lopsided approach to the topics they cover. They really have lost touch with the people.
The Daily Telegraph however, headlined it - thanks to the team at DTNZ.
Review of RSE is underway - but will it meet the Coalition Govt Agreement to REMOVE and REPLACE?
We’re continuing to investigate the review of RSE that is currently underway. Our first story on this review is here:
What can you do?
Communicate with your school teacher/principal about the statement from MOE about RSE curriculum having NO compulsory topics.
Look out for your invitation to participate in the ERO review - your school may be selected for face to face or online research. Be sure to have your say, and keep a copy of your feedback for your own records.

Good chat with Rodney - but horrible how a few zealots are working the system to entrench their ideology. You've got lots of good knowledge and info there, Penny, even though in its own way it's horrifying.
I have been sent this by a parent. Looks as if its doing the rounds. Know that three percent of hospice patients , once taken OFF their medication make a full rcovery.
I first saw this video about a year ago on the children's channel ,YouTube. I made a complaint . Since then I been banned from you tube, its actually been quite liberating to have no comments subs or likes or replies .
Assist the resist! Share and talk loudly about what you know. May love and courage be with you all.
Below is a disgusting suicidal song aimed at children . Be warned it is disturbing.
