Roadshow Dates, Council Apology Hits The Media, UNESCO, Navigating The Journey
We're coming to Rotorua and Bay Of Plenty, Marlborough paper puts us on the front page, UNESCO fake data on MOE website, & those Navigating The Journey resources
Thank you to… YOU. We just clicked over 1000 subscribers to our Let Kids Be Kids Substack!!
Let Kids Be Kids in the media
We’ve had a bit of media attention lately and we’re grateful to have the opportunity to share on air.
Check out our new media page on our website for a run down.
The BFD featured an article about us last week…
Final Roadshow events
Since April, Penny Marie and Elisabeth Cave have travelled throughout New Zealand in an effort to inform and empower families to find out what is happening in their children’s schools and lives. By the end of July we will have held 36 meetings! Check out our remaining event details.
Regional networks
While on tour, we are forming local Let Kids Be Kids groups.
If you want to connect with a local LKBK group, contact us.

Many people have requested our roadshow on video… the answer is yes, it’s coming! It will be released on the completion of our tour. Watch out for it on a future Substack.
UNESCO video on MOE website
In our roadshow we show this video, from UNESCO, that is on Ministry of Education website (TKI) …. among other flawed ‘data’ it refers to the rate of LGBT students thinking about or attempting suicide as being ‘up to 5 times higher’ that other students… Data that has been found to be untrue, (in the Cass Report (UK), as well as among stories from detransitioners).
We question the accuracy and relevance of this video and raise concerns with it being on a Ministry of Education resource website. Presumably MOE employees believe the data here to be true, and use it to justify their policies and guidelines.
We recommend this read, from Parents with Inconvenient Truths about Trans (PITT)…
Marlborough Weekly puts Let Kids Be Kids on the front page…
Marlborough Weekly wrote about our recent venue booking rejection by an employee of Marlborough District Council. We (along with many other groups who are questioning policy and exposing a political agenda being thrust on our children)…. struggle to get a mention in mainstream media, unless they are affixing their usual discriminatory labels to us.
Because the topic was more general, and it just happened to be our group to whom the situation occurred, Marlborough Weekly (probably inadvertently) gave us some front page PR. We’ll take it! If you’re not familiar with what happened in Blenheim recently, you can read about it here…
Rodney’s blinder of a blog
If you haven’t read Rodney’s recent blog, we recommend it. Sexual Wellbeing Aotearoa boasts that almost 50% of schools are now using their Navigating The Journey resources. We raise many red flags about these resources.
We recommend you ask your child’s school for all learning content that will be taught in class BEFORE it’s taught.
Because you may want to ask questions, like Rodney did, and/or opt your child out.
The politicisation of a minority group
Pride. LGBTQIA+. It's NOT about kindness, inclusion, equity, diversity. It's about money, depopulation and social decline. It's about BlackRock.
