Thank you so much Rodney - I really appreciate you fighting the good fight and shining a light on this issue. You are a true hero and hopefully your voice helps to wake up a few more parents. I had hoped that the new government would have dealt with the curriculum (and cut off funding of various organisations responsible for the materials) by now and am increasingly exasperated by the lack of progress there. It’s insane that anyone thinks this is the right way forward for our kids.

Thanks Rodney, i followed up on this two years ago with my son's year 9 RSE - It was known as optional, but i couldn't find out the content either - me and my sons mother had a fallout about this two years ago, it's disgusting we can't make educated decisions about any of this - my son ended up being a spy in this classroom, and he's said most of this wasn't taught in his school - I'm guessing the teacher didn't get to some of this content, or didn't agree with it and fell short on teaching.

Thank you so much, for taking this time and making a stand to try to shine a light here - It can't of been an easy process, and It really brings back those feeling to me of anger and a breakdown of society and values.. I'm with you on this.

Winston Peters said before Christmas last year that this will be taken out this new year term! I’ve heard that instead it’s been made compulsory? I’m sick! My grandkids don’t know anything about this- I tried telling them but got verbally bashed! Just like the c’vd years! 😵‍💫😢

Well done Rodney. my young grandchildren won't be going to Wakatipu high school for several years yet, but if it continues in this manner I cannot see them ever attending. In the UK we have a strong tradition of moving home to be near a school of choice. Just like paying for private education parents are prepared to make sacrifices to get a better school. If Wakatipu governors cannot see what is wrong with this RSE curriculum, then it does not bode well for the rest of what they offer and parents will be voting with their feet.

A school has uploaded their Year 7-8 (12-14yo) "Navigating the Journey - Level 4".

Huge respect to you Rodney for being the voice of so many parents. Some maybe clueless and others too afraid to rock the boat. My big question is what have the board members got to hide? They went to great lengths to stop you exposing them for what they are and that’s a bunch of bloody groomers. You should name and shame them that’s what they deserve. Disgraceful school with no morals. Don’t blame you for pulling your daughter out from their indoctrination.

Great presentation, Rodney. The content of the RSE will not be appreciated by most parents, I expect. Of course, there will always be the determinedly 'progressive' ones, but any others using their actual brains about their kids, and not succumbing to the feel-good, sound-good progressive agenda, will know otherwise.

What’s concerning is that boards of trustees are made up of parents. And why are the teachers hiding behind intellectually property and copyright to not disclose what’s in the course!

Thank you Rodney 🙏 It's utterly appalling. It also makes me so mad that there are so many lazy and complacent parents out there who do nothing and are not across what is being taught and not brave enough to step up and advocate for their beautiful and precious children! They just 'trust' the system despite everything that is happening to New Zealand youth. Ugh. Heads in the sand!
