Christmas cheer, from us to you
While the topics we focus on are heavy, and serious… we think it’s important to take a moment to laugh, to have fun, and sprinkle a bit of magic and joy.
Parents don’t go on ‘annual leave’
When the teachers, policy writers, MP’s, trans lobby activists, media reporters, gender clinic staff, ‘sex change’ surgeons and university so-called ‘experts’ about our children are on their Christmas break… who is dealing with the shattered families, broken by their influences?
Who do we turn to, to make sense of the deluge of lies, deceptions, gaslighting, cancel culture, political wrangling, medical malpractice?
It is us - we the people, at the grassroots... The mums, dads, grandparents who are at the coalface. The people with kindness, generosity and love in their hearts, who can offer us a hug, a smile, a kind word, a shoulder to lean on.
There is no Christmas bonus for parenting. No ‘annual leave’. All those agencies and groups and ‘experts’ are doing their ‘job’.
Parenting is not a ‘job’. It’s a calling, a responsibility we all signed up to, and it is 24/7.
Consider this, the next time anyone tries to minimise your role as a parent. Stand in your authority. Protect your kids. Connect with others who do this too, and you’ll see how strong you really are.
The gift you can give us
If you like our Christmas video, we’d love it to be shared from your favourite place - its on…
… it would make our Christmas very merry if you shared it with someone who may not know about us, or the topics we discuss, yet.
Thank you to the amazing, growing Let Kids Be Kids network. The parents (some are featured in the clip below), grandparents, educators, all the adults who are standing in their authority, being the role models and protectors of your children.

Penny’s second wish
If you'd like to help us with part of Penny's second wish for Let Kids Be Kids, you can do so here.
Penny’s third wish
Penny’s third wish is raw and personal… not only in her own family, but for far too many families, there is division, misunderstanding and hopelessness. Christmas is challenging for so many of us. We see you, we feel you, and we are with you.
We desire healing, forgiveness, love and kindness to be restored, in all the families for whom these are currently missing.
NZFirst connections
Penny and Teresa recently attended NZFirst’s Christmas Lunch in Auckland… We were warmly welcomed and appreciated for the work we do. However we weren’t just there for a delicious lunch, we went to represent the Let Kids Be Kids network… and took along:
Our recent analysis of the HEEADSSS Assessment (Check our part 1 and part 2 posts about this - it’s an important topic)
A thick dossier of examples of RSE content being ‘taught’ in some schools, which was received by Tanya Unkovich, and
Information about Identity Disruption.
We met some great new people, including teachers and members of NZFirst Youth (the young fellas pictured above).
MOH consolation on puberty blockers
The govt consultation is open for submissions until January 20th. So as you go away on holiday, please put a reminder in your diary if you wanting to have your say. Our previous post about it:
We’ll leave you with these videos…
